Working as part of our U.K. wide sales team, we are looking to recruit a Sales professional to build up our sales of existing products and to increase market share through organic growth and with the launch of our exciting new ranges.
Our ideal candidates would be either a sales professional working in the IVD sector, or a Biomedical Scientist, microbiologist, or scientist with a life science discipline such as molecular biology. They would possess a good understanding of in-vitro diagnostic products, and practical experience of working in a laboratory environment, ideally within a clinical environment. They would have a business development approach to identifying market opportunities, a good understanding of NHS procurement processes and the empathy to strengthen our existing good customer relationships.
An excellent communicator with the ability to engage knowledgably and confidentially with a range of customers from different disciplines, such as laboratory technical and managerial personnel, to specialist consultants, purchasing/procurement and financial decision makers.
Applicants will need to be comfortable delivering confident and assured product demonstrations and presentations to audiences of between 10 and 50 clinical and laboratory professionals.
Applicants must be based on territory, and willing to travel as this sales area covers a large geographical area. The role will require, at times, overnight stays to ensure the opportunities in the territory are to be fully exploited.
