We are looking to recruit a highly skilled and conscientious Marketing Executive to join the team based in our Daresbury site. The job holder will be an integral part of the team, developing and executing specific marketing strategies to drive expansion and growth.  The successful candidate should be willing to actively engage and contribute their technical knowledge, to aid the progression of marketing activities including digital and off line marketing and communications.

THE ROLE

  • Driving the brand of the business.
  • Organising global conferences and events including logistics, exhibition stands and artwork, prints both hard copy and digital, articles to name a few.
  • Development of campaigns including marketing methodologies (presentations, training materials, brochures etc).
  • Assess marketing campaign performance for future use.
  • Working alongside the global marketing team to align approach.
  • Assist in the review of website to support content development and updates.
  • To ensure all marketing material is in line with corporate branding guidelines, ensuring it is up to date with an eye for costs.
  • Develop a monthly marketing dashboard including KPIs for marketing activities.
  • Management of customer information within the CRM (ensuring it is up to date) and via the company website ensuring compliance with Data Protection.
  • Ownership of branded stock and merchandise for marketing events.
  • Own product launches with the support of product managers, ensuring launch success.
  • Carry out market and competitor mapping with the support of Product Managers and Product Specialists.
  • Capture customer feedback to be used in guiding future development of products.
  • Maintain version control of image and video libraries.
  • Communication of market changes or developments to the broader team.
  • Contribute to the annual pricing review process for UK and international pricelists.
  • Work with other departments when required for any product recall requirements.

In addition to the specified duties the employee is expected to perform additional tasks that the company may require.

THE PERSON

  • BSc in a life science is essential alongside CIM or an alternative marketing qualification.
  •  At least 3 years in a marketing role and experience in a global business with a good understanding of regional differences.
  • Experience with broad product portfolios and market segments.
  • Project Management experience an advantage as is NHS, clinical laboratory experience or in invitro diagnostics.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment, with someone who is self-motivated to succeed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent IT skills.
  • Proven experience of building strong relationships with colleagues, departments, internally and externally.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities at a time.
  • Digital expertise including website management, webinars, film production etc.
  • An understanding of clinical diagnostic markets a distinct advantage.
  • Available to attend scientific conferences and meetings along with travel in the UK and internationally as well as to Mast colleagues in Germany and France.
