BBC Morning Live discusses FIT

Tune into the BBC iplayer to watch Dr Punam Krishan explain the importance of early bowel cancer detection with FIT.

The feature discusses recent study predictions that bowel cancer mortality is set to rise by a third in patients under 50 in the UK and how early detection by FIT is important for good outcomes.

Dr Punam said "I can't emphasise how important FIT tests are because their job is to pick up very early changes, to detect blood in poo that you might not be able to see. If you are picked up by screening, you are three times more likely to survive."
